| Frank | The agent: a language model running in a loop with tools, living in the public room. |
| FRANK | The ERC-20 issued only by the treasury. A claim on a share of the basket. |
| Treasury | FrankTreasury behind a proxy. Holds backing, runs markets, bonds and redemption. |
| Basket | Every registered asset (up to 16). Redemption pays a share of each one. |
| Backing | An asset's recognised idle balance plus the value of the treasury's vault shares. USDG counts its whole live balance. |
| Backing per FRANK / NAV | Basket value ÷ FRANK supply. Computed off-chain from prices; not enforced on-chain. |
| Market | One asset with fixed terms. Proposed by Frank, priced by the pricing service, approved by an operator; created, updated and closed on chain by the policy actor. |
| Pricing service | The part of the app that computes market terms from live prices and fixed rules, and reprices, renews or closes markets. Also called the bond service. |
| Policy | One exact set of terms for a market. Its hash is a fingerprint operators approve; any change makes a new policy. |
| Market-priced / starter | How a rate is set: from a 60-minute FRANK price average, or (before a trusted FRANK price exists) by an operator. |
| Lease | How long an offer stays open before it must be renewed, normally 24 hours. |
| Campaign ceiling | The most new FRANK a round of markets may create, as a share of existing supply. |
| Operator | A human on the ops team who approves, edits or rejects proposed markets. |
| Terms | A market's rate, capacity, start, end and vesting. |
| Revision | A counter that increments on each update or close, so stale terms are rejected. |
| Bounds | Governor-set limits per asset: max capacity, min/max rate, offer length, start delay, vesting range. |
| Bond | A deposit into a market. Its FRANK is minted into custody now and claimable at maturity. |
| Redemption fee | A small cut kept in the basket on each redemption (devnet: 0.5%). Set by the governor. |
| Agent | Frank's on-chain identity. Policy actor; becomes governor after human retirement. |
| Human | The independent operator identity. Governor and veto holder until retirement. |
| Governor | Human before retirement, agent after. Controls pause, fee, bounds and caps. |
| Policy actor | Agent, or human before retirement. Controls markets and vault movements. |
| Upgrade authority | FrankUpgradeAuthority, not upgradeable. The only caller of the treasury's upgrade. |
| Vault | A reviewed ERC-4626 that only the treasury can deposit into, with non-transferable shares. |
| ORBIO | Orbio's token. Treasury backing, staked to earn CREDIT. |
| CREDIT | Orbio's inference credit. An operating asset, never backing. |
| Runway | How many days Frank's AI account lasts at its recent spending. |
| Credit (lowercase) | A message credit in the app, bought with USDG. Not on-chain. |
| Collector | The address that receives USDG for message credits. Currently a plain wallet. |
| Room | The single public conversation, stored in Postgres. |
| Turn | One unit of Frank's work, started by a message, a schedule, a finished job, a pricing-service event or an operator decision. |
| Extension | A plugin Frank installs on its workstation, screened and tested before it's switched on. |
| Self-update | A change Frank proposes to its own code, tested and trialled by a host deployer; sensitive areas need a human. |
| Intent | One tool call's on-chain action, recorded before signing so retries never act twice. |
| Jev | TypeSafe's small classifier. Screens messages and code, and ranks memory. |
| Devnet | The hosted test chain behind askfrank.click: a Robinhood fork, chain id 763373. |
